When you come to Bergen Community College, you will be given the tools to create your vision. It’s not just about your creativity. You are given the paint brushes, canvas, tools, software, and experience, and learn what they can do, how far they can take you, and more importantly how far you can take them. Therein lies the strength of this program. You will be given the foundational power to create the art you have inside of you and it will be impressive. Your creativity needs an outlet, and BCC, its program, and its excellent instructors give you the tools to do it. With these tools you can make real what you imagine. You will create powerful, beautiful, and meaningful works of creativity.
You will explore the software and discover its abilities. You learn how the software and tools can create what you want. You will learn to break the boundaries between you and your art. It will become second nature to create using these industry standard tools. You will be prepared to develop your skills further on your own and grow as a creative person. The skills you gain here will carry you forward in your personal and professional work. Your skills will be sought by the industry looking for talent such as yourself and you will be prepared after attending the program. The joy I have gained as an artist I attribute to my time at BCC and the computer animation program, it’s faculty, and the friends I have made along the way.
